The RR tournament of the 12th Andranik Margaryan Memorial launched today at the Chess Academy of Armenia.

The RR tournament of the 12th Andranik Margaryan Memorial launched today at the Chess Academy of Armenia. The tournament is being held according to the norms of FIDE International Grandmaster and International Master.
The tournaments with GM and IM norms are going to be held in January 9-17, 2022 with 10 participants in 
9 rounds.

Fisher's schedule is being used in 90 minutes for the first 40 steps, then 15 minutes until the end of the game, adding 30 seconds to each step starting with the first step.
The prize fund for the GM tournament is 3000 USD.
The closing ceremony will take place on January 17, at 18:00, at the Chess Academy of Armenia.
