Andranik Margaryan Memorial Round Robin Tournament

From January 9–16, 2026, the Chess Academy of Armeia is organising the 16th Andranik Margaryan Memorial, a prestigious annual event that brings together talented young players and experienced competitors from Armenia and abroad.

This year’s edition will once again feature Grandmaster (GM) and International Master (IM) norm sections, offering participants a valuable opportunity to compete at a high level and work toward official FIDE title norms.

The tournament will take place at the Armenian Chess Academy (address: 34 Shevchenko Street, Yerevan),
where players will benefit from professional playing conditions, a strong competitive field, and an environment designed to support serious, focused, and ambitious chess performance.
